This full day course provides an elemental but crucial understanding of the profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flows. Additional concepts are listed below. It will provide the general commercial manager the necessary vocabulary needed to discuss business propositions with increased confidence.

  • Lectures on the basic structure of financial statements
  • Concepts will include:
  • Profit and loss statements, the balance sheet and cash flow
  • Ratio analysis
  • Costing concepts and breakeven analysis
  • Budgeting and variance analysis
  • Participants will be given sample financial statements to analyse
  • Attendees may also bring along their companies’ statements for the trainer to appraise and comment
